Located in the Northwest of England and part of the National Health Service (NHS), the Cheshire and Merseyside Consortium is a collaborative teaching and training initiative involving four universities and several health trusts managing clinical placements across 320 Health Service providers. The new consortium partnership will bring all clinical placements into the InPlace Network system beginning June, 2020. 

Many thousands of student placements are synchronised using InPlace Network in the Health Service Providers and InPlace Software in the universities supporting real time management of requests, bookings, placements, prerequisites, assessments and more. Students, supervisors, academics and university administrative staff benefit from live interaction and communication to achieve efficient and trouble free organisation of the placement experience.

University of Liverpool ~ Liverpool, United Kingdom

The university is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide (Academic ranking of world universities) and has previously been ranked within the top 150 university globally by the guide. University Liverpool is also is a founding member of the Russell Group.

Edge Hill University ~ Lancashire, United Kingdom

Edge Hill University is a modern university in Northern England with over 14 000 student population, the University boasts Gold ranking in the Teaching Excellence Framework (England). After beginning in Health Edge Hill have since rolled InPlace out through the renowned Teacher Education Faculties.

Liverpool John Moore’s University ~ Liverpool, United Kingdom 

The highly regarded LJMU is one the largest universities in the UK with a student population around 25 000 and diverse curriculum of teaching and degrees.

University of Chester ~ Chester, United Kingdom

University of Chester has a student population of 20,000 and was the host of the 2018 InPlace UK User Group.  Noted as one of the best performing university’s in England for employability, with 95.2% of its graduates in work or further study, the flagship ‘work-based learning’ module allows students to take an industry placement related to their course of study.
